In 2016 Mr. Joe Santangelo has been appointed Member of Board of Directors and Vice President of MPT-S.p.A, the Turkish Joint Venture Company based in Istanbul.

As of 2012, Mr. Joe Santangelo is Head of Development of Foreign Markets at Petroltecnica, S.p.A., an Italian oil and gas solutions provider. There he has been responsible for a team of seven people with a goal of creation and execution of foreign markets commercial strategy.

Responsible for parking systems and turnkey projects and being a direct counterpart with Swiss headquarters and its suppliers, he developed and executed the company commercial objectives, including training for the entire sales force both internally and externally and participation in defining the 3 years company growth plan.

Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010 Mr. Joe Santangelo was National Sales Director Parking Management at AJ Mobility in Italy. There he was accountable for direct management of agents and technical team to support the commercial strategy of the company.
Earlier, from 1997 to 2009 he was a National Manager of the Parking Business Line at Siemens AG. There he developed and coordinated implementation of strategies, projects and tactics aimed to meet the annual sales/profitability targets. Furthermore, he maintained knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base as well as assisted in developing new products and services and/or revise the existing ones for business growth.
Earlier, from 1998 to 2001 began a Doctorate in Entrepreneurial Psychology and he has prepared a bundle of lecture notes which have been used for the academic sessions: Introduction to Radical Leadership.
As of 1998, Mr. Santangelo was a Professor in Safety/Security and Combat Psychodynamics at the Bologna “Accademia delle Cose Antiche”, for which he wrote some text-books.
As a professor of Psychodinamics, he has lectured to matters concerning:

L’amore per lo studio e per l’approfondimento mi hanno spinto a frequentare, nel corso della mia carriera professionale, molteplici Corsi di Specializzazione e di Perfezionamento. Ho svolto Docenze in ambito accademico/istituzionale in lingua italiana e inglese, ho progettato e gestito Corsi di Formazione Manageriale focalizzati su aspetti commerciali/strategici/direzionali. La mia lunga esperienza come Direttore Commerciale ed Export Manager mi permette di offrire esempi concreti e gestire simulazioni a caldo, rendendo pragmatica ed efficace la trasmissione di contenuti che, diversamente, potrebbero arrivare in modo arido o accademico. La conoscenza agonistica e professionistica della pratica sportiva, infine, completa il mio profilo come docente e come formatore, arricchendolo di una parte psicodinamica ben allineata alle logiche del Management nazionale e internazionale.
